Your invoices and claiming from your insurer

You get an invoice for each payment, issued in your therapist’s name. You’ll also find them in Payments and invoices, in your personal area.

Invoice with your NIF

If you add your NIF to your billing details, the invoice will be a full one. That’s usually what insurers that reimburse psychology sessions ask for. Check your policy’s conditions.

In Spanish

Invoices are Spanish tax documents, so they’re issued in Spanish.

No VAT

Psychotherapy provided as health care is exempt from VAT, and the invoice says so. Workshops that aren’t health care may carry 21% VAT.

No health data

The invoice description is neutral, for example “Sesión de psicoterapia individual, 50 minutos”. It never includes a diagnosis.
